Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging following established protocols.
  • Ensure accurate positioning and exposure techniques for clear and diagnostic images.
  • Follow strict radiation safety guidelines, including the use of protective measures.
  • Work closely with radiologists and physicians to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Educate and reassure patients about procedures to provide a comfortable experience.
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment for optimal performance.
  • Follow infection control protocols to ensure a clean and sterile work environment.
  • Recognize emergency situations and provide lifesaving first aid when necessary.
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate patient records.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT); DEXA certification preferred.
  • South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association licensure.
  • Experience in medical imaging, including X-ray and CT.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and HIPAA compliance.
  • Proficiency in PACS and EMR systems (Athena experience preferred).
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Pay: $39.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
