CT Technologist II

As a CT Technologist II, you’ll play a vital role in diagnosing and supporting patient care through high-quality imaging in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform X-ray, CT scans, and DEXA scans (if applicable) following established protocols.
• Utilize advanced radiographic techniques to obtain high-resolution diagnostic images.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff by following strict protection guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Educate and reassure patients about procedures, ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment for optimal performance.
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure a clean and sterile work environment.
• Recognize emergency conditions and initiate lifesaving procedures when necessary.

What We’re Looking For:

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology with at least two years of professional experience.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) (DEXA certification preferred).
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association licensure.
• Experience in medical imaging, including X-ray and CT scans.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, HIPAA compliance, and PACS systems.
• Proficiency in EMR systems (Athena experience preferred).
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus!
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Pay: $36.00 - $38.00 per hour
