CT Technologist III

What You’ll Do:

• Perform X-ray, CT, and DEXA scans following established protocols.
• Ensure image quality and patient positioning for accurate diagnosis.
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, radiologists, and the healthcare team.
• Mentor and train new radiology technicians to support their professional development.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Educate patients on imaging procedures, addressing their concerns.
• Recognize emergency conditions and initiate lifesaving first aid when needed.
• Stay updated on radiologic advancements and participate in continuing education.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient record documentation.
• Help establish the newly expanded imaging services: policies, staff development, leadership planning, and more.

What We’re Looking For:

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) (DEXA preferred).
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association licensure.
• 5+ years of radiology experience (X-ray, CT, and DEXA imaging).
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills (previous leadership experience preferred).
• Proficiency in PACS and EMR systems (Athena experience preferred).
• Excellent patient care skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
