Nurse Practitioner (Physician Assistant)

KG Workforce Solutions is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Kershaw, SC.

 This is a full-time direct patient care provider position (primary care).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide quality care for all patients.
• Complete charting and required administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Participate in the development/review of office policies and quality improvement procedures; evaluate current practices, policies, and procedures; and support the Executive Director/CEO and Chief Medical Officer in their respective duties as requested.
• Recommend changes in clinical areas and/or in general areas to improve patient flow, medical records, billing, and appointment practices.
• Assist the leadership in designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for patients and staff.
• Direct and supervise the clinical staff, as appropriate.
• Adhere to all company care criteria, and state, federal, and local requirements applicable to the industry and profession.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate from an accredited program for nurse practitioners/FNP or PA.
• At least two (2) years of post-graduate experience.
• Advanced education and training in diagnosing and managing common medical conditions and chronic illnesses.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in South Carolina.
• Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/PALS) Certification.
• Current/eligible for a DEA certificate without restriction and an NPI number.
• Confidence, knowledge, and experience to successfully fulfill duties with minimal supervision.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship; ability to pass criminal background and drug testing; ability to pass credentialing requirements for services to be performed.
