Accountant II

KG Workforce Solutions is recruiting for an Accountant II to support one of our growing financial clients. The Accountant II position involves delivering services related to high-risk assets and participation loans for partner stakeholders that opt for the bank’s additional loan accounting functions. In representation of these partner stakeholders,  the Accountant II handle the actual processing of DNA/Fiserv and General Ledger transactions, ensuring the proper maintenance of all loan and accounting records while adhering to established procedures and internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support for high-risk accounting for subscribing associations.
• Prepare worksheets and process loan and general ledger transactions.
• Review selected reconcilement reports and take corrective actions as necessary to resolve any discrepancies daily.
• Process new sales and monitor sold loans to maintain accurate records.
• Assist in monthly and quarterly reporting for high-risk assets.

Requirements:

• Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and other specialized software.
• At least three years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of bank operations and regulations.
• Familiarity with and adherence to GAAP.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the US without current or future sponsorship
